the poor dad advice is time honored. it doesn’t fail you. It doesn’t make you rich. If you don’t want to be rich then poor dad advice works. Even if you want to be middle class, it works. I mean if you don’t want to be a financial failure, don’t spend so much. If you want to be rich of course open a business and hope it grows. But kiyosakis ideas are dangerous for many people considering new businesses fail within 5 years and if everyone owns a business who’s going to work for you. LOL

As a finance person, I don’t agree with everything they say, but I do agree it’s a viable business plan–with the right training, tools & support, an entrepreneurial minded person can excel. He’s right about the low startup cost and ease of entry. It’s so much easier to start a home based business, than it is to find a good job sometimes! Bad economic conditions are making it very timely.
