Hi there, i want to ask a question about internet links that you save.
Just say you save an internet link in a folder on your desk top.
how do you find out what was the orgininal link, with out it having on it for an example : C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\PM MARKETING\Network Leads – LMS.mht
(with out it having C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\ on it) ?
because if was to share this link with a friend or someone, it won’t work.) how do i get it the way i found it, after i’ve saved it to my desktop? Please help me. thank you to every one who helps me with this question. i hope you all can understand what i’m trying to explain. ![]()
CORRECTION – New information.
Right click on your desktop icon/link and click "Send To". Then click either Fax or Mail Recipient.
An Email will open up.


Right Click on the link you saved and choose "Properties". Just above the center of the window that appears, you will see the URL that belongs to the link.
